The black EPDM rubber pipe flashing temperature range is between -40 C° to +115 C°.

The Silicone rubber pipe flashing temperature range is between -60 C° to +240 C°.

Both are resistant to ozone and UV light.

What is the maximum tile roof pitch that your pipe flashings can be used on?

With our range of Versatile tile flashings the maximum roof pitch we recommend for each size is 45 degrees. When the roof pitch is 45 degree or more we recommend that the next size flashing be considered to allow for the extra size hole that needs to be cut into the tile.

Do I need to use silicone flashing on a heater flue?

Answer:

A lot of trades people still use the silicone flashing for heater flues.

When the flue type is a twin or triple skin, tests have shown that the Aquarius black EPDM pipe flashing will adequately do the job and should not be affected by the passive flue heat.
