Embossed Galvanised Metal Double Seal Washer, 10g, OD 25mm – Black

This embossed galvanised metal double seal washer is designed for 10 gauge roofing fasteners, featuring a 25mm outside diameter and 4.5mm inside diameter. Specifically designed for cyclonic roofing applications, it provides a broad, supported seal at the fixing point.

Cyclonic roofing installations use specialised fixing methods and materials to help secure a building’s roof against extreme wind uplift and powerful gusts during tropical cyclones, when flying debris can also cause damage. Using the correct washer is an essential part of the specified fixing system, helping support the connection between the screw and roofing sheet.

The washer combines high-quality EPDM rubber with an embossed galvanised steel washer. The metal support helps distribute fixing pressure across the wider washer area, while the flexible EPDM seals around the screw and against the roofing surface, helping prevent water entering through the fixing hole.

The EPDM rubber is bonded to the underside of the galvanised steel washer, offering excellent leak prevention and resistance to over-compression while requiring less tightening torque than conventional rubber washers. An additional EPDM seal provides further sealing support.
